All dealings with Singlepage are subject to UK law.
We reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Interact Partners Ltd trading as Singlepage (herein referred to as Singlepage) is a UK website building and web hosting business.
Web hosting accounts comprise web hosting services offered for a relevant billing period and may include website setup services provided one time only to set up a website on the hosting account. Singlepage also offers web support services to amend, update or upgrade Clients’ websites.
On ordering services from Singlepage, the Client agrees to these terms and conditions.
Singlepage reserves the right to change prices at any time. The current prices shall be published at all times on the Singlepage website at singlepage.co.uk. All pricing is guaranteed for the term of the payment.
All pricing is in UK Sterling.
Singlepage has the right to decline or rescind any order.
All Singlepage’s website setup fees, web hosting account fees, web support fees and site upgrade fees are payable in advance. These fees are not refundable should the Client decide to transfer their site to another host part way through the billing period.
If a Client’s order includes a website setup service, Singlepage will build the website using the Singlepage system as described on the Singlepage website. The site setup service is limited to the design options and content options described on the Singlepage website.
The Client will supply all material to be incorporated into the website to Singlepage including the website name, text, photographs, logos, other images and any other material. The Client’s material will be supplied in electronic format using the form(s) published for this purpose on Singlepage’s website. The Client’s material will be supplied all at the same time on the same form submission within 7 days of Singlepage requesting the material.
Singlepage will aim to build the site within 14 days of receiving the Client’s material. When the site has been built, Singlepage will provide a link to the site on a test url so that the Client can review the site. The Client can request up to 2 rounds of amendments within the initial setup fee: in each round, the Client should request the amendments within 7 days of the previous version of the website being published on the test url and Singlepage will aim to complete the amendments within 7 days of receiving the Client’s instructions. Any further amendments requested by the Client after these 2 rounds will be chargeable work: Singlepage will indicate how much support time should be purchased to complete the work and the work will only be commenced after the Client has paid in advance for that support work. In the event that timescales are likely to be significantly different from those indicated here, Singlepage will aim to publish the timescales on the Singlepage website or notify the Client by email.
The amount of material to be included on the website during the site setup will be limited to what in Singlepage’s discretion is considered reasonable in the situation.
Singlepage has the right to include a statement in a form similar to “website and hosting by Singlepage” together with a link to Singlepage’s website at the bottom of each page of the Client’s website. The Client will retain any such credit and link in any adapted version of the website, and the Client will (and will only) remove any such credit and link from the website at Singlepage’s request.
The Client’s access to the website and web hosting account will be limited to a username and password for the website content management system with editor privileges for editing content on the Client’s website. The Client will have a username and password for each email account set up on the hosting account for that Client by Singlepage (subject to our service specification when the Client’s order is placed). No other access to the web hosting account will be available to the Client and this includes but is not limited to hosting account control panel access, FTP access and SSH or shell access.
To renew a hosting account, payment must be made before the start of the next billing period.
Unless an account is cancelled before the end of the relevant billing period, the account will automatically renew and the Client authorises Singlepage to collect the renewal fee using any appropriate payment method held on record. If a recurring payment has been set up by the client when they place an order, payment for renewals should be made automatically by the payment gateway. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that recurring payments are made when they are due. If no recurring payment has been set up, an invoice for renewal of the hosting account will be sent out by Singlepage before the start of the next account year, and must be paid according to the payment terms displayed on the invoice.
If the renewal is not paid when it becomes due, on or before the last day of the service’s billing period and at least 2 requests for payment have been sent out to the Client’s last notified email address, then the account will be closed and the domain will be deleted from our servers.
All bills and invoices are sent by email.
At all times the Client must specify a communications address, which should be an email address, to which Singlepage may send all invoices, notices or other forms of communication. Should the Client fail to notify Singlepage immediately of any change in particulars then Singlepage shall not be liable for any loss to the Client arising from any such failure.
All cancellation requests must come from the account holder who shall provide sufficient Client identification information to Singlepage.
Singlepage reserves the right to suspend or cancel a Client’s access to any or all services at any time without notice. If we cancel an account due to, in our opinion, the account being inappropriately used then no refund of monies will be due.
All sites may be used for personal and commercial use but the Client is responsible for the content of the website, including obtaining the legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate any laws.
Singlepage has the right to suspend a service immediately in the event of a breach or suspected breach by the Client.
Account holders are not permitted to resell or give away any of their web hosting space or any service provided by Singlepage. Account holders are also not permitted to allow anyone to use their account in any way that may be in breach of these terms and conditions.
Any domain names that are forwarded or directed to a hosting account must belong to the Client.
Clients accept that server downtime, whether for system upgrades or any other reason, may occur and there will be no compensation paid for any period of downtime in any event.
Singlepage does not allow adult material, foul or abusive language, Warez, illegal MP3 sites, slander / libel, impersonations, promotion of violence or terrorism, racial / sexual / political discrimination or other services we deem inappropriate. The designation of “adult material” is left entirely to the discretion of Singlepage and includes pornography and escort agencies. Warez includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking, IP spoofing etc., and encrypting of any of the above and also includes any sites which provide “links to” or “how to” information about such material.
Web hosting accounts must only be used for the normal operation of a personal or small business website. You must not use a hosting account in a way which results in an excessive load on the server, including but not limited to running web proxies, using the space for bulk file storage or online backups, or mirroring mass downloads. Websites that allow downloading of video, audio or other files will be monitored for any excessive use of web storage or bandwidth. If your use of a hosting account results in a high load on the server, then in our sole discretion, we may suspend your account until the cause of any such overload is resolved. We do not allow Clients to install their own chat rooms. These tend to be a large drain on system resources. Sites with archives of image files or other files for download that may put a serious drain on server resources are also not permitted.
Accounts that use excessive amounts of system resources that result in degradation of server performance will be subject to suspension or deletion at our discretion.
We police our sites regularly and any in breach of these terms and conditions will be removed from our servers.
Hosting accounts are subject to bandwidth and storage limits, as defined on the Singlepage website. If your usage of the hosting account exceeds these limits, you will be required to upgrade your hosting account. Upgrade options will be displayed on the Singlepage website.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your username(s) and password(s) are kept safe. You must not divulge these to any other person except someone authorised by you to access your website or email, and you should take reasonable precautions to ensure that they are not discovered by anyone else.
We may grant access to any account on our servers if required to do so by a Legal Authority.
Clients must not participate in any form of un-solicited bulk e-mailing or spam. Clients may not utilise the hosting accounts to distribute, advertise or promote software or services that have the primary purpose of encouraging or facilitating unsolicited commercial e-mail or spam.
Any user forwarding mail to an aol.com address and subsequently marking that mail as spam (causing a detrimental effect to the server) will be subject to suspension/termination of their account.
Email accounts are subject to a maximum limit of 500MB per address. Mail boxes larger than this limit can cause performance problems, and we therefore reserve the right to request that email is removed/archived to your own computer in cases where an individual mail box regularly exceeds this limit.
For new hosting accounts a temporary address is provided to allow viewing of the website prior to the domain propagating on our name servers and this must not be used for continual access to the website. Therefore it is the responsibility of the domain owner or administrator to ensure that the domain name servers are modified or the domain is transferred to Singlepage in accordance with the instructions provided by Singlepage as soon as possible after the account is set up.
We do not permit the use of the following scripts on any of our servers:
Chat rooms except for those included in the control panel.
Matt Wright’s formmail versions 1.91 and older.
Any scripts that can be exploited to allow unauthorized access.
Any scripts which become too resource intensive for a shared hosting environment.
All scripts installed by our Clients must be kept up to date with the latest secure version. Old scripts with known vulnerabilities as well as user developed scripts which may be insecure may be subject to deletion. When installing scripts the permissions must not be set to 777.
Whenever possible, we will notify our Clients in advance if we find possible problem scripts on their hosting account. This may not always be possible and it is your responsibility to ensure that your scripts are kept up to date and are secure.
Users must not use .htaccess to bypass server rules.
Data stored on our servers is not guaranteed to be backed up. It is recommended that Clients keep their own backups of all data used on the hosting accounts.
We reserve the right to review included features and/or disable features for security reasons.
All copyright and other Intellectual Property Rights in the website (excluding Client works and third party works) will as between the parties be the sole property of Singlepage and, subject to full payment of any applicable fees, Singlepage grants to the Client a non-exclusive non-transferable worldwide licence for the period that the hosting account is live and has not been suspended or cancelled of such Intellectual Property Rights for the purposes of:
(a) publishing and operating the website on the Singlepage web hosting account;
(b) updating and adapting the website on the Singlepage web hosting account;
subject always to the other terms and conditions.
Singlepage support is by email only. We endeavour to reply to all email within 48 hours.
The Client should address any complaints concerning the provision of the services to Singlepage using these contact details:

The Client agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Singlepage harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney’s fees asserted against Singlepage, its agents, its Clients, officers and employees, that may arise or result from the content of the Client’s website including but not limited to any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by Client, its agents, employees or assigns.
The Client agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Singlepage against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Singlepage’s servers; (2) any material supplied by Client infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to Client from Singlepage’s servers.
Singlepage will not be liable for any:
(i) loss of profits, income or anticipated savings,
(ii) loss or corruption of any data, database or software,
(iii) reputational damage or damage to goodwill;
(iv) loss of any commercial opportunity, or
(v) indirect, special or consequential loss or damage;
Singlepage will not be liable for any losses arising out of a Force Majeure Event.
Singlepage makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide.
Singlepage disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by Singlepage and its employees.
Clients should set up their own anti-virus protection and ensure that it is kept up to date (Singlepage cannot take responsibility for Clients’ virus protection).
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Any account in breach of these Terms and Conditions, determined solely at Singlepage’s discretion, shall be removed from our servers.
Singlepage reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.
